A missed Uber ride started it all
The concept of FlexFactor came to life during a declined transaction.
One of our co-founders missed an important Uber ride because his card declined where it should have been approved. He felt the frustration that millions of consumers experience every year.
Instead of shrugging the problem off, he started to explore the issue and reached out to a former colleague.
With decades of experience in data science, credit risk, and fraud detection, including leading Decision Analytics for Experian, the two co-founders, Elio Vitucci and Zeev Shoval partnered up to understand and address the problem.
Upon noting the incredible inefficiencies in eCommerce and payments systems, the concept of FlexFactor was born.

Elio Vitucci
Elio has over two decades of experience in data science and financial services creating multiple global businesses with a passion to bring improvement and innovation to the sector.
Most notably, he served in several roles with Experian including Global Managing Director of Decision Analytics.
Additionally, Elio created and led as CEO, Experian MicroAnalytics, which became the largest nano-lending operation globally, issuing over 2M loans per day in over 30 countries.

Ze'ev Shoval
Ze’ev is a serial entrepreneur and top tier business development executive having developed and grown multiple global businesses in the Telcom, National Security, Defense, and Financial Services Sector.
Prior to FlexFactor, he founded Wirefree Corp, grew Trivnet and helped it to a successful strategic sale, led alliances for Utiba Mobile Commerce, led Business Development at Experian Microanalytics, and was General Partner for GMS, a leading Global Messaging platform monetizing services across hundreds of mobile operators and enterprises around the world.

Guy Vatman
Guy has over 10+ years experience as a software developer and architect based in the heart of the Israeli tech community having worked across both enterprise and start-up environments.
Prior to FlexFactor, Guy was CTO at UpStart, a software house for technology start-ups ranging from development stage companies to more mature groups focused on global expansion. Guy was also co-founder of Israelapt.com, a comprehensive apartment bookings platform.

Rehman Baig
Rehman has been on the edge of fintech innovation for over a decade, with global payments experience across every major region.
He serves on the Board of the Electronic Transactions Association, the world's leading advocacy and trade association for the payments industry.
Prior to FlexFactor, he led Adyen's global partnerships organization, and sat on the global payments leadership team. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at industry disruptors including Square and PayPal.

Philip McHugh
Philip has over 25 years of international banking and payment experience across North America, Europe, LATAM, and Africa.
He currently serves as EVP, SME at Worldpay. Prior experiences include CEO of Paysafe where we listed the company on the NYSE at a $12B valuation, President and EVP of TSYS, CEO of Payments at Barclays, and various roles with Citigroup.
As Board Advisor, Philip partnered with Elio and Ze’ev to take on a broad range of operational roles to help FlexFactor grow to its true potential.

Don serves as Chairman of the London Stock Exchange Group, the leading global financial markets infrastructure business. He is Chair of Council of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Founding Partner of Corten Capital, and Technology Advisor to the Bank of England.
Previously, Don was Chairman of Experian plc, a global information and analytics business, from 2014 to 2019. Prior to this, he was Group CEO of Experian plc from 2005 to 2014. Don was also Non-Executive Director at Compass Group plc, Non-Executive Director of the Court of Directors, Bank of England, and Non-Executive Director at First Advantage Corp.

He founded Moneta VC in 2013 as a leading Israeli VC firm that invests in Data Transformation startups across Fintech, Insuretech, and FinCyber.
Prior to starting Moneta VC, Adoram worked as Managing Director, M&A Banking for GrowthPoint Technology Partners and as Founder and Managing Partner of StageOne Ventures.
